“Staff were very friendly food was lovely, our room was nice and comfortable but very noisy as it was along a main road.. Which was ok, but the bathroom was not up to scratch.. The tiling on the floor of the shower felt dirty with the grout crumbling from the floor, dirty rough grey tiling was throughout the bathroom and felt unclean. If bathroom was updated I would recommend this hotel.”

“Good location close to all amenities as described. Room allocated at rear, basic but very comfortable and adequate for a short break. Shower facilities Modern and well serviced. Breakfast menu V/Good, with a superb food menu available in Bar throughout the day. Staff are attentive and more than helpful. We only stayed One night to finish off our break but will definitely go back. P B S.”

The only problem we encountered was that the bedroom had a stale smell of cigerettes all the time. We are non-smokers. We never mentioned it to the staff which we should have. Im sure they would have given us another room. We would reccommend the hotel to people though.”

Station House hotel very nice hotel, well situated, staff very friendly and courteous, food v good service a bit slow at times but dont think the fault lay at front of house!!!!!!! Rooms at front of hotel very noisy constant traffic due to location of hotel at roundabout. busy hotel however no noise from other guests.”

“We stayed in The Station House Hotel, LetterKenny for 2 nights in July. The hotel was centrally located, well decorated and had very friendly and helpful staff. The only real downside was that there is no air conditioning in the hotel, we needed to sleep with the window open (the heat was stifling) but the traffic noise was horribly loud. The super market across the road started getting deliveries at 6am and the traffic is heavy from then on. In the morning I explained to the staff about the heat and she had a fan sent up to the room. The food and staff in the hotel cannot be faulted. The bar is very quiet and even entertainment (a trad band) on our second night. ”

“This holel has an excellent location - three minutes from town centre and yet on a quiet street which is a bonus at night. The staff were excellent - courteous and friendly. The restaurant was good and value for money. I have returned to the Station House since and would highly recommend it. The ethos of caring about patrons is strong and found at every level from the reception desk to the bar, to the restaurant and even the housemaids when encountered in corridors.”
