The breakfast the next morning was really lovely with home bread breads and jams. The grounds are really well planned and well kept, I would really recommend this hotel for a quiet break.”

  • “I was very dissappointed with my stay at the Station House Hotel. After booking our room on-line I was contacted by the hotel and asked if I would mind taking a room away from the main hotel. I presumed this would be within the grounds of the hotel but it turned out to be a room in a residential house in a housing estate across the road from the hotel grounds.(we had to drive back to it) The room was not of hotel standard, clean and comfortable but thats all. I felt as if I was staying in a neighbours house. But nevertheless settled in only to be awakened at 4.15 AM by drunken and obnoxious guests arriving home from a wedding reception at the hotel, shouting and using offensive language and trying to use their key in our door. I felt alarmed by this and then when they eventually found there own room I was worried they might start a fire as they were smoking ( we could smell this in our room. )The breakfast was good.... thats the only positive thing I could say about our stay and I would advise anyone staying there to check first where their room is and if there's a wedding on.”
