In the centre of Patrick Street, in the heart of our magically-medieval city, lies the oldest hotel in Kilkenny. Since 1797, this beautiful Georgian building has retained its historic period features, unrivalled architecture and meticulously detailed plasterwork. More than that though, it has continued for over two centuries to provide a home away from home for families, couples, tourists and business travellers from across Ireland, Europe and the world.

Travel Description We are just around the corner & less than a 2-minute walk from Kilkenny Castle and Design Centre and just off Kilkennys Medieval Mile. Kilkenny Citys main shopping district is just a minutes stroll from the hotel as well the citys top bars, restaurants, and attractions which are all right on our doorstep. Nolan Park & McDonagh Junction railway station are just a short drive or 15-minute walk from the hotel and the city bus stop is just beside the hotel on Ormonde street. As well as our fantastic location we have our own private carpark at the rear of the hotel on New Street which is complimentary to our guests making us the ideal place to stay for your trip to Kilkenny.
