Built in 1838 The Nesbitt Arms Hotel takes its name from the last Whaling family in Ireland and lies at the hub of the heritage town of Ardara. Irelands capital in the manufacture of hand-woven tweeds and handknits.

Area Description From Glencolumbkille a road heads inland towards Ardara, through the wild and picturesque Glengesh Pass where the road meanders through sloping mountainous terrain. Glengesh (Gleann Geis, Glen of the Swans) is one of two glaciated valleys that sculpture the northern edge of the Banagh peninsula.
