“Good hotel but it was a Monday night and service was very slow even tho there wasn't much happening. Food was delicious no time issues with this. But it took nearly 15 mins at one stage to get a drink.”

“We had a lovely stay at garryvoe hotel .the room was fabulous with a sea view .it was a big room and was spotless clean .when we arrived.the lady on reception was lovely to us .check in was very smooth.we had a very nice vegetarian curry for supper.staff again couldn’t do enough for us .as were the staff at breakfast next morning.we had a fabulous time at garryvoe hotel .thanks to all .”

“A delightful hotel. The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The bar food menu was satisfactory, but a limited menu, as a vegetarian my options were few, but what I had was fine. I would definately recommend this hotel and we will return. Thankyou to all the lovely staff.”

“A two night stay at the Garryvoe hotel left us refreshed and relaxed. The greeting on arrival from the receptionist was warm and friendly. The room allocated was lovely and spacious, with a little balcony from which we could see and smell the sea. The bed was really comfortable and the room had a powerful shower with a bath. The health club with its three pools was excellent and the outdoor hot tub was a real treat. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty and the staff were efficient and very friendly. Added to the above, the hotel was spotless and well maintained throughout.”

“The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly. Our room was lovely and the issues did not take away from the enjoyment. The phone did not work in the room - they brought alternative phones but they did not work either. It wasn't a problem except we could not ring to book the pool, dinner etc. There must have been a problem with the heating/ water pump as the heating kept going on and off and when showering it went from cold to too hot and back again. The extractor fan wasn't working. Also, we put on door that we did not need room serviced. We checked and were told the room still would be replenished which never happened. Despite this, we still would return to the hotel.”

“Lovely hotel. When we were checking out we handed back the key cards. Receptionist informed us we had a bill for meals we had in the hotel. Informed receptionist that we had already paid for our meals that we had. We were lucky to have all credit card receipts because usually we don't keep them. It was a bit embarrassing to prove our case and reception lobby area was quite at the time. If other people were waiting to check out and watching us go through all the receipts for purchases that we made in hotel it would not be great. Lovely hotel overall. Mistakes can happen. Thanking you”

Lovely breakfast selection. Ate at both the Bistro and Sapphire restaurant..food in both places was delicious. Lovely quaint bar..absolutely fell in love with Garryvoe.”

“Myself and my husband really enjoyed our few days break at the Garryvoe Hotel. The room was lovely and very spacious with fantastic views. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Hand sanitizer stations everywhere. The food was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Stayed in the Garryvoe Hotel for two nights couple of weeks ago. It was a beautiful hotel overlooking the sea and the weather made it too. We checked in on a Sunday eve took all of 2 mins no hassle just filled in form and received our cards. The young chap at the bar in the hotel near the foyer was very chatty and we sat and looked out at the sea. They library was a lovely calming place to sit and relax. The room was lovely had a little view of the sea and the carpark but lovely big room with balcony only problem was shower in bath thought this was a thing of the past let it down a bit. Breakfast was nice and staff very helpful. there is a great cliff walk that we did and came back to the lighthouse bar for food chowder not up to scratch too much potato and service bit slow everyone seemed to walk around looking busy but not!! little expensive for bar food but nonetheless was good we went into the bar at the back of the restaurant the cave I think very dark took ages to get a drink as the rest staff serve here did not realise there was a bell until we were leaving that eve overall a really nice stay but weather made it too not much to do otherwise.”

“Garryvoe Hotel is welcoming and friendly. We stayed one night and had a room on 4th floor with side sea view. It had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the bar which was excellent, hubby really enjoyed the scampi! There was good music in the pub at rear but it finished early. The hotel bar/library area was very quiet and relaxing. The leisure centre at the hotel is one of the nicest I have been in. There is a lovely pool with an inbuilt Jacuzzi; a great steam room and sauna but pride of place has to go to the hot tub which is so relaxing and refreshing.”

They we so attentive to us as a family offering advice on activities to do as a family in the area. we will definitely be returning to the hotel in the very near future.”

“Stayed here for easter Sunday. Was absolutely fantastic. The room was large, cosy and had blackout curtains and a big 32inch TV. We used the pool sauna and outdoor jacuzzi which was an absolutely amazing surprise when we got there. Breakfast was buffet cold and menu hot. Would definitely recommend. I will certainly be back soon.”

“A very nice hotel with lovely spacious rooms , and beautiful views of the beach . Only thing there was a balcony and patio doors out to it . But no key on it to lock . So we asked at reception and they locked it the first night and then it was locked the whole time , which was a bit uncomfortable because we couldn't get any air into room after that . Bar food was a bit expensive . Leisure club is lovely . Plenty to do in area , lovely walks along beach and cliffs .”

“Lovely hotel,we got everything we asked for ,many thanks to the hotel staff for that.....We ate in the bistro ,it was very busy but we were looked after well and the food was lovely.Our room was lovely and big with a balcony and a sea view....We used the leisure centre and the outdoor hot tube.....fantastic no complaints there and the staff were exceptionally helpful....a very enjoyable beach stay.....thanks to all.”

“A pleasant surprise! Great, spacious room on the 4th floor overlooking the sea, with a little balcony. The leisure centre is just right, with no kids after 6pm. Separate lanes for those doing lengths. Sauna & steam room were perfect, & the outdoor hot tub a real treat. The food & service in the Lighthouse lounge was second to none, with pleasant live music afterwards. Breakfast was just ok, nothing special, though good that we chose from a menu. Pleasantly surprised overall, & at the Lidl Breaks price of â‚¬78B&B, an absolute steal.”
