  • “I stayed here a while back and really enjoyed the experience and found everything to be top class. On this occasion however I didn't enjoy it quite so much. We had dinner in the bar and had to wait a long time for someone to take our order and noticed that people who sat down after us were served before us. The breakfast was disappointing too and not much of anything left when we got there. However the staff are absolutely lovely and the room was lovely too.”

  • “I arrived at check in time. Receptionist was pleasant and efficient. Our room was ready and the staff were more than helpful. Our room was big and comfortable the bed was dressed in luxury goose down duvet & pillows but alas I am allergic to feathers. I rang reception and within minutes a lovely lady changed my bedding to regular non Allergy bedding. She went to so much bother to see everything was ok for us. I was so pleased with the standard of care. I would give them 5 stars.”

There was only one person serving and he was in and out to the area serving bar food. Everything else in the hotel was perfect. We enjoyed our stay”

  • “We stayed on the fri 15 feb 2013.It is a lovely hotel ,the staff were very friendly,food was lovely,room service on time,room was spacious,large shower ,no bath.Very close to shops and night life.Only problem with this hotel is parking-really hard to get parking until after six due to the fact the car park is open to the public who use it to do there shopping. It was a nightmare to get a parking space and also the lifts are slow and dont seem to give prority to the people in them .It bypasses your floor more than once had to use stairs a few times which are not easily found either .We found a poor old lady in it at one stage in an awful state as it kept passing her floor and she was going up and down for a while .overall a lovely hotel to stay in.”

  • “Modern, clean, comfortable; very nice overall. Only disappointing aspect was a room service request. We filled out the request for breakfast in bed & hung it on the door at 7pm. The instructions said to have it hung on door before 4am. Returned from outing at 2:15am & made sure breakfast request was still on the door & facing the right way. It was never collected & breakfast in bed was never provided. Awoke at 9:45 to realize that I'd slept in (was depending on breakfast delivery for wake up call) for work & narrowly avoided being late. The lady at reception was courteous & apologetic but failed to offer any compensation which was disappointing as I'd have stayed there again.”
