Travel Description The Alcock & Brown, is located on the Town Square in Clifden, Connemara's Capital.
Area Description As you may, or may not have guessed, the hotel derives its name from the historical event which took place on the morning of 15th June 1919, when Capt. John Alcock and Lt. Arthur Brown guided their Vickers-Vimy biplane through the early morning sky to a bumpy landing in the bogs just south of Clifden.
